about this story
In the humble town of Woodward, there lives a door-to-door salesman named Mark. Mark is your regular average joe. He likes cars, food, and time away from his job. Mark works for a local company in Woodward selling people their products and subscriptions. Woodward is a small town, so Mark is one of the only salesmen there. The people of Woodward treat him well enough, but every year Mark must travel outside of Woodward to speak to their most loyal client. Mark can still remember the first time he sold to them. At the time, they were staying at a small blue house owned by relatives of theirs. Mark radiated confidence that day. He was so good at selling the product that he was invited back to the client's usual place of residence. It was a larger house covered in bricks, with thin columns running down the facade. Mark later learned that the client owned a company of his own, and the two companies soon became partners.
