Our task was simple. As kids, we were charged with discovering ancient evidence of the three-toed, Apatosaurus. Some adults helped to excavate large boulders in our way. Next, we made certain we were safe and placed our hardhats on our heads! All was going great, until... we discovered a small goat, scared and hiding in the bushes. For about twenty minutes, we were distracted with the task of rescue. Luckily, we found an large, safe, open field to release him! Whew! Finally, after much searching, we located our evidence! The Apatosaurus was "alive and well" in 2018!
