Halfway through the marathon, Emily saw only a blur in front of her. Her mind wandered to the reading assignment she still had to complete for class on Monday. This made her think of all of the work she still needed to complete for her university program. Since this line of thinking was hardly helpful, she began to think about relaxing in her dorm room as she listened to her favorite music.
