(1) Serenae- The setting is near the ocean.
(2) shareski- Alanie sells oysters in Greyling Square and this is what I imagine in the marketplace.
(3) bionicteaching- The cars driving off in the distance reminds me of how Alanie watches the boats leaving.
(4) bionicteaching- The man walking away reminds me of the men who leave to "defeat the kraken."
(5) bionicteaching- The monument looks like a tombstone and all of the men who leave to fight the kraken never return.
