She really wants to meet me.
She is the stranger knocking at the door.
It's like the salesman no one wants to talk to.
Her likes are too far outside my comfort zone.
I think.
Her waters run deep but I refuse to swim.
The world keeps turning and I keep missing it.
She is begging me to explore. To see. To run. To jump.
She is persistent, but I am stubborn.
I keep canceling on our date.
She knocks, but I do not answer.
I love Netflix and my phone too much.
Summer, snow and seasons pass.
She is disappointed but remains interested.
She calls.
and calls.
Whispers in the wind.
I stay inside.
She is outside.
