about this story
Someone in a rush,
someone with a crush,
hurried on their way down the street, almost as fast as their heart was beating.
Passing many signs, ignoring them all, like what they have done all this time.
Wishing, hoping, wanting to believe; that it was not the end.
They wanted something else, but love wanted nothing more.
They arrived at beachside by sunset, the distant "splash" "splash" of the water echoing in their head.
They watched the sunset, fearing that the end has come.
But one turn, one face, and one smile proved he was wrong
Wanting to make up for everything he hasn't done, he runs to her crying tears watery as a river.
Filled with relief, he confesses to her how he has felt all this time
He silently wished he had never said anything, but love thought otherwise, and much to his surprise, she felt the same for the longest time.
They make their way down the street, reminded of how important, the love one has
