I get woken from my deep sleep by a loud banging noise this gloomy Monday morning. I tip toe down stairs and into the kitchen, trying not to wake my parents up, to get my morning coffee. This horrific noise outside caught my attention once more and I walked to the door to see what was happening. Opening the door slowly, I peeked my head through trying not to be seen by the gorilla inside the trash cans. It must of been stuck in the green cans by the way it was hollering. Unsure of what to do, I did the stupid thing and approached the gorilla. As I get closer, she stares me right in the eyes. Observing the gorilla and the blue cans carefully, I see her left hairy leg is stuck in between the recycling bin and trash can. Cautiously, I move the cans and the gorilla is set free. At first, she didn't know what to do or where to go, until I started walking back to my house and she followed my every move. Amazed at the new friend I had made, I took her on an evening stroll. We ventured our way to the dog park, cupcake shop, and the arched bridge. Walking back home, many people gave us looks of disturbance or fright. As we approach my suburban house my parents are standing at the front door with an animal control man. "Ma'am I'm afraid we can't let you keep your new friend, she is a danger to your household." I threw the biggest and nastiest fit I possibly could to keep her, but they wouldn't budge a single bit. With the truck up and running the animal control man put her in the back of the vehicle and off they went in the sunset. I would never get to see my furry friend ever again.
