about this story

My best friend and I set out on a bicycle ride one cool summer morning. About 4 miles into the ride, a car pulled out in front of us, and my friend went flying over the car's hood. I grabbed the first aid kit from my backpack and bandaged his bleeding elbow as the little red convertible sped away. My friend was so angry, he jumped on his bike and chased after the car. We rode all day and into the night trying to follow the culprit. When we realized how far we were from home, we decided to get a hotel room for the night. We checked into the Aussie Inn where the bellhop was dressed like a kangaroo. We never caught the driver that injured my friend, but it made for a great story.
