牽著腳踏車，在太陽西下中漫步回家。街燈一個接著一個亮起，一個面帶惡魔面具，身穿紅色軍服，手持塑膠劍的小孩從我身邊跑過。他努力模仿廣場上的雕像，想像自己騎著馬奔馳在戰場上。但跑了一小段路，卻感覺怎麼也不對，速度太慢了。我叫住小孩，將他放上腳踏車後座，蹬上踏板，朝著下坡一陣衝刺。
小孩發出尖銳的笑聲，開心地揮舞他的劍。到了平地，我停下腳踏車。而旁邊一排房屋上的窗口突然冒出一個人，喊著小孩讓他回家。
底下的大門門鎖似乎壞了，打不開。那人只好將繩子垂吊下來，讓小孩抓住繩子，緩緩將小孩升至窗口，小孩才能回家。
我踏上腳踏車，緩緩離去。
