about this story

I woke up, cold, wet, and covered in mud. I got up as fast as I could, dizzy, I fell back down. I noticed that there were bright orange colored roses everywhere. I glanced behind me and saw a path of red roses. In front of me looked like a blanket, of bright, yellow colored roses. I follow the yellow path in the way of the rainbow. Once the yellow finished the roses stopped, The path became dirt. Before stepping onto the muddy path. The sun was rising. I bravely stepped onto the dirt path. Walking farther and farther, The green leaves above me grew thicker. Stepping on something sharp, I flinched backward and and heard the voice of a small boy. “Hello…” The boy said. Petrified, I couldn't shape the words to answer him. I think he could see the fright in my eyes because he quickly told me his name was Raphael. I soon felt comfortable around him. I followed him until he turned a corner and disappeared. “...Raphael…?” I felt uneasy, yet, safe. I soon closed my eyes and saw that I was in the city. I saw Raphael crossing the road. A car swerved to avoid him. It slammed into the border on the side of the road. I ran after Raphael. He crawled through a tunnel and I crawled after him. When the tunnel came to an end I found myself in backyard of my old family home, and I felt safe.
