about this story
the ground is wet and puddles are forming. As it rains on the grass of a football field, there are 2 kittens struggling to stay dry under a tree while the sun begins to set and their mother hasn't returned. early the next morning the kittens wander for food and water, they begin to live off scrapings and bugs until their mothers photo is posted against the very tree they lied beneath in the rain. ADOPTED! the poster reads, an address of a road they are firmiliar with. They've found themselves upon the steps of a front door waiting for it to be opened, but now the door to the left of this house opens they scamper inside to find their mother and a kind being awaiting to nurture them.
