about this story

Ever since I was 5 years old, my family and I would go on an exhausting long road trip to an unknown destination. We usually don't get lucky and end up in a ghost town; due to that, we end up going kayaking instead. This year I was trying to convince my parents that it would be pointless to go on a road trip and that I'm sick and tired of kayaking. Luckily, my parents decided to break the 'tradition' and do something else. We drove to a very nice yet small town and did some tourist activities such as: going for a walk on the locally famous pedestrian roads and taking lots of pictures. At the end of the day, we sat down on the long benches near the majestic large fountain. To entertain us, my dad was saying stupid dad jokes that only he laughed at. We then drove back home and decided that this will be our new family tradition.
