about this story
Animals make better friends than people. Have you ever wanted to have a catch with your friend but instead they decided to hang out with someone else? Your pet wouldn't do that to you. You can go play fetch with them and they won't leave you for someone else. They can be the one thing you look forward to at the end of the day and the reason you don't give up on yourself. Once, I was crying and I felt alone. I felt like I didn't have anyone until my puppy came over to me and started licking my hand. I realized that just because people aren't around, doesn't mean your pets will leave you in the dust. Also, Have you ever been out to lunch with a friend, and bam! They pick a fight with you. You don't need to worry about that happening with animals, because they can't talk! However, they do show great emotion. People can be difficult to deal with so animals can make better friends and listeners. Instead of staying home alone because your friends don't want to hang out, you can go on a run with your furry friend.
