about this story
I was walking on Holly Avenue. It was a slow Wednesday evening at work and I was very happy of getting out of that snooze fest. I was a little cantankerous, considering I had business meetings all day. I continued walking, taking my time to soak in all the flowers that lined the library window. I noticed that the light was on in the window. It was weird, because it was a Wednesday the library should have been closed. I decided to go and talk to Mrs.DeLily, my good friend and the towns librarian. When I walked in the smell of old books overwhelmed my nose. I didn't see Mrs.DeLily so I decided to take a seat next to the Favorites shelf. I took a book and began reading. It was a very whimsical book, consisting of goblins and a fairy. I must have been very tired from my work day, because I awoke later that night with the lights off in the library. I stumbled around, barely able to see. I found my way to the door and stepped outside. I knew I must be dreaming. When I stepped outside, there was no sidewalk, no flowers, and no other buildings. Instead I saw stone hedges. I quickly walked inside but hit one of the shelves and fell over. I went black. I stopped reading. This book was a weird one for sure...
