about this story

As I wake in the morning I see a familiarly soothing bird. I do not remember where it is from, but only that it was from somewhere in my distant childhood. As I walk to my job at the pub I decide to take a different path and see my long lost secret entrance. A small hole in the lush looking forest leading to a huge clearing. It always looked untouched by mankind no matter how many times I went there. But, I had to put my childhood memories aside and go to work. Work was long. And hard. I wish I were young again. I wish I were climbing all the trees I see and I wish I could sneak into every pub I see. My childhood flew by. Like the child I was. I long for adventure. I long for walking on every road and every beaten path. Nothing but me and the night sky. Nothing but my sweet childhood.
