about this story
Once upon a time, there was a girl called Mia. She was crazy about sports, especially water sports, and she was really good at them. Her dream job? A professional winsurfer. However, her parents didn't let her do much. They preferred their daughter to be prettier and do "girls' stuff". "Hang out with other girls", "go shopping", or "do your nails and hair", they said. Mia was a good child, but she had to argue time after time. Her journey wasn't easy, nor short. She had to walk alone, without the help of her parents. But she worked hard and never gave up. After overcoming all the difficulties, Mia became a professional windsurfer with a lot of success, just with the help of her teachers and classmates. Her parents finally accepted her. Better late than never. Mia is happy now.
