about this story

Jeremy found himself in the soundless streets of Winnipeg, it smelled like train. Jeremy was meeting his friend after school and on his way he found a sewer grate with some odd wording. Being illiterate, he ran away just as his friend answered the door. The friend didn't see Jeremy but could hear his thundering footfalls as he ran through the woods back home. Eventually Jeremy could notice that someone was following him, he kept running as he didn't want to draw suspicion. Jeremy took a quick glance behind him to see who dared follow him. IT WAS HIS FRIEND!! Jeremy kept running, as this was the friend that he forgot to invite to his birthday party. He eventually came across a hole in the forest, and took refuge there until the friend lost his trail. "Jeremy was a wicked ninja now", he told himself proudly as he watched his friend disappear into the trees. As the sun set and day turned to night Jeremy found another problem. He didn't know how to get back home. So he grabbed his backpack and pulled out his luigi styled walkie talkie, somehow he was getting a signal! He could hear voices emulating out of it, but didnt know where they were. Excited for the first time all day, Jeremy got up and just started running. Where, it didnt matter, as her would eventually reach where the source of the walkie talkie came from. His running went from days to nights, weeks to months, and months to years. He finally reached a park where he came across something. The fabled 'other walkie talkie', he may have now been in his 60's but he had succeeded in life, his soul was at peace and his body was ready for whatever came next. That is, Heremy's wicked adventure.
