It's all about the journey, not the destination. Just hop into your car and go for the ride and see where it takes you. For Callie, this was her get away from real life. It was her on the open highway ahead of her. Today Callie got in a fight with her best friend Addie. So Callie hopped into her car to go on a journey, where to, she didn't even know. Along the way Callie decided to take a stop at an old farm that she once used to recognized. It was her grandparents farm that they once had. The farm she knew was full of colorful trees, flowers and animals. The farm that she is looking at now is dark, and abandoned from all life that was once there. The thought of her childhood turning into this brought unpleasant thoughts. So back in the car she went. Callie drove until she found another place that she once knew. It was the place the she and Addie once always went to to talk. A walk way with nothing but open water in front of the beautiful old fence and statues. The last place that Callie went to on her journey was to the woods where she used to go for hikes with her parents when she was younger. Today another family was hiking those very same paths Callie used to with her parents. Finally Callie got back into her car and just drove. Reflecting on her past with her family and her friends. Who knew that on her way to make it up to Addie that she would take such a trip down memory lane.
