about this story

Three best friends could only see each other once a year, each time choosing a new adventure. They came upon a tree tunnel, not knowing what they would find on the other side. As they crossed the threshold they saw bright colors and realized there were multiple canoes with colors as bright as the sun. They took one kayak and loaded it up into their old fashioned truck and headed to the nearest river. They went down a gravel road and were reminded of the days when they were kids and would come with their families every summer. They laughed as they reminisced on the memories they shared. Once they got to the lake, they unloaded the kayak and pushed it into the river. They jumped in and began to paddle through the water. As they looked up they saw the bright blue sky with the clouds as soft as cotton balls and they imagined what it would be like to touch them. They felt as if they were gliding through the sky as the clouds reflected off the water. As they ended their paddle and brought the kayaks back, they would always remember this days as their reunion and the day they knew they could conquer anything that came their way. They could fly through the water, and possessed the ability to fly through life with a grace they held together.
