about this story

I started by thinking about what I had close at hand. Then, to how social interaction occurs at a distance or through windows, actual or electronic. The world seemingly passing me by. I found that what I had at hand was time, the time to finally pursue activities I'd only imagined doing. Now I cultivate life in a myriad of ways: from fermentation to gardening. But also my own life, living more meaningfully, slowly, and intentionally.
