Extensive neighborhood and campus crime watch efforts are being undertaken at VCU. Students and children are canvassing the woods near the river for trespassers and poachers. Adults are posing as mass communications majors but are secretly recording actions of passersby. The police are always nearby, ready to react. This is how we keep our sidewalks and streets safe at VCU.
