My feet hit the floor and my bare socks scuffed softly against the hardwood. I shuffled down the hallway past the brick and stone walls that formed the castle.
Tonight, I needed a break from the potions, spells, and transfigurations. I headed to the rock cliff where first years are made to jump into the lake as a sign of bravery.
Upon returning from my refreshing solo jaunt, I noticed a break in the bricks in a single wall. The brick patterns no longer matched. It was the room of requirement door. I stood closer and the door opened. Inside, I was shocked to find two students in loving embrace. Requirement, indeed. I tried not to disturb the young lovers and again shuffled off down the hallway in my bare socks.
