Exposition (Setting, Characters, Mood):
There was an emergency alert that a venomous snake on the loose. As Lucy walked out of work, reading the alert, she saw the snake.
Rising Action (events that lead to climax):
The snake showed his fangs and Lucy screamed. He bit her. She managed to call emergency services despite her pain.
Climax (highest point of tension in story):
They had a difficult time finding her because she couldn’t describe her location in the parking garage.
Falling Action (events that lead to the resolution):
They tracked her phone to the back corner and found her half-conscious leaning in a doorway.
Resolution (how the story ends):
The ambulance was able to help Lucy with her bite. She woke up later in the hospital with beautiful flowers at her bedside.
