about this story

Two years ago a family went out on a hiking trip up the Savantina mountains. With them was a young boy, Ryan. Ryan brought with him on the trip a notebook and a box of crayons. On the ride down to the mountians Ryan drew a picture with all the colors of the pretty flowers he was gonna see when they finally arrived. The ride to the Savatina mountains was a long one, the countryside the backdrop for much of the ride, Ryan was excited for a change of pace, the bushy green trees and colorful flowers were all he was anticipating. On arrival there were all the colorful flowers Ryan had wanted to see and more! Lavender leaves hanging down from the trees, Ryan was ecstatic! Its unfortunate those beautiful lavender flowers would be the last thing of any beauty Ryan would ever see. Two years and the case for the murder of young Ryan by the hands of a man named Lester Crinbotch was dismissed as no conclusive evidence could be found, and now even if it was, Crinbotch could no longer be charged. Despite this, Ryan's parents go back to that mountain every year to search for their son, perhaps they do so for closure, but despite their constant searching, Ryan was never found.
