about this story
It's getting late in the day. The sun starts to drip down. It's time to go home and you grab your friend's tiny hand. You two laugh and giggle as you run down the docks towards home. You wake up in your bed, wondering why you had a dream of you and your old friend. You meet your mother in the kitchen and she asks you if you could visit the local flea market for her. As you wait in line for a quick bite to eat at a food truck, you notice someone familiar watching you from around the corner. Your eyes lock and they start to run. You chase after them in an alley. You catch them at a dead end and ask who are they. They hide their face under their cap, you snatch it away. You realize it's your long lost friend, they shove you aside and runs away. You notice that they accidentally left behind a piece of paper with a QR code and a serial number.
