It is not safe for you and other drivers on the road when you are under the influence of either alcohol or marijuana. Alcohol can be a deadly substance because it can impair your vision by slowing your eye muscle, visibility in the dark is very minimal, blurred visions, and color perception is altered. Also, some people think driving while high is fine because it does not impair your vision, in addition, marijuana does actually impair your vision but not like alcohol, it slow down your reaction time and affects your judgment, therefore, you should never drive a car under the influence of marijuana or alcohol.
