about this story

I chose to title this array of Photos " COVID daydreams" because it's filled with photos of either activities we all miss or actions that we've all kind of been forced to engage in because of COVID-19. The crowded plane is not a sight I have seen in a while and not a sight, I will probably see for a little while now; at least 7 months. The second picture is of a bicycle because biking seems to have become a very popular outdoor activity. Especially before the gyms opened back up for the public to use. The third photo reminds me of a library. The library had always been one of my favorite places to study. But now things are very different. And, the feeling you get going to the library has changed a bit.

The empty elementary school setting is very much our reality, with the exception of having teachers come in and set up. Some schools are doing 2 or 3 days a week in school. Either way, for the most part. Our classrooms are empty. I know in Erie most schools have the kids going in 3 times a week. Many offices are doing the same thing. Some offices are even as flexible as letting employees work on the days that their kids are in school and work remotely on days that their kids are at home. Because with this climate, the cost of babysitting can completely put some people out.

The joy in the last picture is something that many people are now yearning for with the forced separation that has imposed on us.
