Five Card Story: This Town

I live in an old town, it's nothing special. Nobody marks it on their map or makes sure they visit it before they die. To be quite honest, nobody even knows that it exists. You go anywhere outside this town, and nobody has heard of it. Even neighboring towns think you've gone mad when you talk about it. I know nothing about who lived here before, there's no information whatsoever about any first founders or mayors. Massive stone buildings are spread across the town, but they are left empty. Government buildings, libraries, even houses were built here but show no sign of anyone even walking through their doors. I'm one of the 3 teenagers that live here, the rest are all seniors who can't remember what happened more than 3 years ago. It's almost as if this town erases memory. Wipes out the town and starts completely fresh again every 100 years. I don't know. I don't have parents, or I don't think I do. The seniors always told me I was left here by somebody. I've lived with and cared for the seniors all my life, along with the other teenagers, but I can't remember their names. Eventually I'll figure this mystery out. I just hope I don't forget everything if I leave for too long..
