Plato went through hardships, but he was able to continue his studies because of his writings, he became a scholar. His writings explored justice, beauty and equality. He was the student of Socrates and soon became the teacher of Aristotle. He is widely considered the pivotal figure in the history of Ancient Greek and Western philosophy, along with his teacher, Socrates, and his most famous student, Aristotle.
