Petals and stems, thorns and leaves
Their smell as lovely as perfume
Growing in a garden
Heads, shoulders, knees, and toes
Children grow in houses
Bang! Boom! Crash! Thump!
The similarity to flowers ends.
Loud, lazy, laughing, lovable,
Flowers and children can be both.
This concludes my poem for my best bud
But is that a person or a flower ?
