I was walking down the beach on a cool afternoon. It was foggy, with a light breeze.I dug my toes into the crunchy sand. I looked over my shoulder to see a little boy walking down the beach as well. I couldn't help but to stare. He was under the age of seven that's for sure. I start to slowly follow him down the beach to this trail. I want to make sure this boy isn't lost and gets home safely. He walks on the trail until he enters a forest and he disappears in the trees, and fog. One thing I thought was weird was how he left his sneakers on a rock. Now why would a little boy go into the forest barefoot. I walk more into the woods careful of my surroundings. Then I freeze. Right in front of me is the boy standing over a grave, covered in dead roses. I felt a sudden urge to cry. This is the little boy's reason.
