I’m not much of an easy going person.
When I’m nervous, I couldn’t hear anything over my heartbeat.
When I’m scared, I can’t catch my breath.
When I’m sad, I feel REALLY sad.
I overthink a lot. The ‘what-ifs’ keep me up at night.
I stress over the little things. I can’t help it.
I envy those people who are always positive and take things in a stride.
I wished I would learn to ‘feel less.’
But as I grow as a person, I also embrace who I am and all my emotions step-by-step.
When I’m anxious or down, I try to cheer myself up or give myself a mental hug. I try to tell myself “It’s going to be fine”.
Breathe in and breathe out.
I’m not much of an easy going person.
I have a lot of fears and my fears are bigger than others. But I’m learning to use my fears as my strength.
When I fear danger, I try to avoid it.
When I fear sickness, I look after my health.
When I fear failure, I work hard as much as I can for success.
And when I can, I try to conquer those fears each step of the way.
