about this story

The first story which is by bionicteaching shows that Rene Descartes is a good student, so he did spend four years, earning a baccalaureate in law at the University of Poitiers. He studied a lot of things like rhetoric and logic and the mathematical arts which equipped him well for his future as a philosopher. The second story which is by bionicteaching shows that not all of his philosophy is not successful like when he added theology and medicine to his study, he just eschewed all this. So he traveled, visited courts and armies, mixing with people of diverse temperaments and ranks, gathering various experiences, tested his self in situations, this shows the third story by katerha, that Descartes started to seek opportunities and started to open his self for new things. The next story by shows that Descartes spent a large part of his adult life away from his native France in the Dutch Republic, since he held the belief, not entirely unwisely, that the mercantile Dutch would, as a people, be far too concerned with earning money to pester a free-thinking man like himself. However it turned out that the Dutch were a little less materialistic than he'd hoped, and the philosopher ended up moving 24 times to keep ahead of spies and government agents. The last story which is by Serenae shows that because of his philosophies, he now becomes the father of modern philosophy. This was a great honor for him so he is like a bird that along the length of his journey he now reached his destination.

This story of Descartes influenced my philosophy in life by continuing my journey even though there are a lot of obstacles that on my way. And in order to get what I desire I need to go on and continue my journey. Like in the first story I need to study because it can help me to achieve my goals. The next two stories show that there will be darkness in my journey, but I must not give up just because of this darkness. Instead, I will continue my journey and open myself to new experiences and new challenges. My journey will be also long, it will take time, so I must be patient as shown in the fourth story where there is a traffic. When I’ve successfully done all of this, definitely like Descartes, I will also reach my destination, so I just need to fly higher to reach that destination.
