about this story

1. Plato, born 428/427 bce, Athens, Greece—died 348/347.

2. He has many contributions including (but not limited to) ethics, cosmology, and metaphysics that are still displayed to many to this very day.

3. He studied under Socrates.

4. He founded the academy, the world's first university. And in this he trained his greatest student, the equally influential Aristotle inspired his heart to burn bright in the chase of wisdom.

5. Many centuries after his death. His quotes are still famous such as "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something."
