about this story
As we enter another month of an enduring pandemic, one may have their life on hold. I still have the chance to receive an education, income, a new day of living but I really just want to escape.
As a parent is stopping their child from writing on a wall, I am stopping my thoughts from taking over.
To be this lucky to still receive an education and income. I am a winner amongst others, but this does not feel like winning.
The world is spinning, but there are days I want to freeze time. Isolate. Climb a mountain and reflect.
But I do not have that convenience. Nightime falls and I am here preparing for a new day.
