Five Card Story: Cicada Holmes

about this story
On a Sunday morning, Cicada Holmes was enjoying his time off from his job when suddenly he got a call that his partner John Katydids. He immediately drops his leaf and went to the crime scene. When he arrived he noticed that this looked a lot like the first case the two detectives took when assigned together. He went to the Crystal County Jail to talk to the rose bush killer. He told him that he had been receiving letters from a secret admirer and on the letter, there was an address so he went to the house and saw a car that looked a lot like another detective's car, but he wasn't sure. He approached the door and found that it was unlocked so he let himself in and found another detective dead on the floor. In the house, he sees crime scene photos and evidence from the case. Plus photos of the two lead detectives, and some of himself. So he wonders if this is an inside job.
