about this story

Pic 1: When it comes to note taking...research says that more is better. (Why only have one robot when you can have three?!)

Pic 2: Just as this newspaper is free, research suggests that teachers give students notes they can use to compare to their own.

Pic 3: There's a danger in mis-representing the research. Yes, note taking is good, but there are parameters including finding ways to help students engage in and reflect on notes.

Pic 4: There is support for collaborative notes and technology creates pathways for this.

Pic 5: By sharing notes and collaborating on what's included in notes there's potential for kids to form a web of learning they may not have had on their own.
