We are all traveling our own road, but I wonder if others had enough forethought to travel by bike or car while I walk along this path. They all will tell you to remember "self-care" and "take time for yourself" on this journey, but the truth is you pay for your rest. While I rested, the others boarded the ferry, and well...that's my youthful, rested-self chasing it down as it pulls away. While I paid for my rest, others pressed on. We are all so busy chasing our ferries, we often don't look up. Rest may cost, but life collects compounding interest. Invest in rest, it pays to look up. Watch out for that...
