I am a businessman named Bill and I was on my way to a client, however something happened that changed my entire life in a second. A week ago I was on a road trip to Meteor city to meet my client and a baseball flew through my window. The baseball cracked my window and I could not see because the glass was shattered. While I was swerving, a semi truck hit me. The bad part was that I drove a small car so my car was totaled. I don't really remember what happened, but cops showed up and put me in an ambulance. I woke up in the middle of a highway and asked the people in the ambulance what happened to me and the truck driver. He said that ”You got hit by the truck and were badly injured, however I don't know about the truck driver because he drove away.” After I heard that the painkiller stopped working and passed out from the pain. A little while later I woke up in a hospital and was shocked to see my leg was gone. I asked the doctor why my leg was gone, he looked at me and said when you got hit by the truck, it cut your leg so badly that we had no choice but to cut it off. I was upset but I knew that they had no other choice. Weeks later I was let out, however I did not know what to do because I never told my job what happened. I immediately called my job to tell them, however they said that I was fired for not telling me what happened. After that I found my way back home but since I haven't been there in a while there were leaves everywhere. I cleaned up my home and started looking for a new job. After looking for a while I remembered that the truck driver drove away after hitting me. That's when I decided to join the police force and stop people like him that drive away from crime scenes.
