about this story
We were driving through the city, on my way to give a lecture to a lot of people. The sun was covered by the towering skyscrapers above. The most people I've ever seen, all walking on the sidewalks. Many were crossing the road ahead. How is it possible that this many people are staying here, I thought to myself. The University I am lecturing at is in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We had 5 hours till we had to be there. We decided to stop at a trailhead just outside the city. We walked 2 miles in and were amazed by the beauty of nature. Hiking back out we saw a beautiful deer. When we got in the car we drove along the coastline. Looking out we could see the miles and miles into the atlantic ocean. It was so awesome. In southern New Jersey it had snowed the day before. Driving through was like a winter wonderland. I felt like I was in a Christmas movie. I arrived at the University shortly after and gave my lecture.
