about this story

Introduction (pic 1)
Parents are an integral part of a child's growth, well being, and standing in the world. The comfort a parent gives can help children learn to cope with their feelings.

pic 2.
Parents have a responsibility to provide food and oversee the physical, spiritual, and mental growth of a child.

pic 3.
Without parents, one would be left to fend for themselves, especially at night when dangerous predators lurk.

Counterargument (pic 4).
Parents can also treat children like trash and leave them with complex issues and problems that can make for a challenging and unhappy life. Surely a child would be better off without parents that do horrific things to them.

Conclusion (pic 5).
Parents have the ability to directly help in the growth of an individual, which also renders a child vulnerable to having their growth stunted by a bad parent. Good parents are essential to the success and growth of a child to become an upstanding human being.
