about this story

It doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, or how you grew up. You'll always eventually be faced with adversity. It can feel as if you are a lonely tower, in a field of desolate.

When a problem arises you must stand tall, not cower. You must be a symbol of dedication, even if you don't know where you're at, or where to start. Those who back down from a problem lack guidance. Success will always attract and guide the strong and dedicated.

When you persevere you feel, as if you're the strongest person in the world. You become someone people look up to. A symbol of dedication. Someone who wavers won't experience the same feeling of accomplishment, as someone who runs from the problem.

However, there are many options to choose from, that may not just be pushing through or backing up from adversity. Situations don't always have binary solutions. You might need to back down, if you find the cost's exceed the benefits. There can be no use in staying strong and dedicated, if you're going to create even more problems in the process. "Giving up can be an effective tool for saving yourself from mental distress" says Psychologist Aanchal Narang.

Nevertheless, taking adversity head on is the right way to go. Those who take on adversity feel better satisfaction in the end, and are looked at better than those who give up. That feeling of accomplishment brings the feeling of life to you, it brings growth, and creates mental tenacity. "If the road is easy, you're likely going the wrong way.” ― Terry Goodkind
