In my journey as a high school kid, I always felt pressured and overwhelmed to keep up to my parent's expectations. They always wanted me to gain this and achieve that. I tried my best, I really did. However, as time goes by, I felt secluded, suffocated and silenced. It was hard and intoxicating. Not until I found him, or perhaps he found me. It was God that showed me the way. I am forever grateful to a good friend for introducing God's gospel to me. I learned to speak up and open up to other people, especially to my parents.
