about this story
Life is moving fast many artists understood what they were talking about, but it seems that the world now pays little attention to what they have to say. Today's world moves at a rapid speed. Many of us have busier lives than we would like, getting up earlier in the morning and going to bed later at night in order to pack as much as possible into our days. We may be reached at any time by phone, email, WhatsApp, Viber, Skype, Hangouts, TikTok, Messenger, Facebook, and so on. Where will it all end if life continues to accelerate up at its present rate? What space will remain? Is life just becoming a never-ending To-Do list of tasks to complete? Will it just become less about the process and more about the final result? What's the point of that? I didn't worry about what happened after class, or the following day, or the next week; all I could think about was how I felt at the time, and it was great. I was unwittingly becoming a member of the Slow Movement. Who knew I was such a dissenter? Everyone says how quickly time flies, so slow down, take a break, appreciate the moment, and enjoy the journey. Find something that works for you and enables you to step back from the turmoil. Also, be kind with yourself. You've earned it.
