秋天，是南瓜的季節，家中的女主人想要上街去買南瓜當今天晚餐的主菜。一出門發現天空看似快要下雨的樣子，便多帶了把傘出門。途中經過了廣場，不少人在這享受著悠閒的下午，女主人雖然會羨慕，但她對自己目前的生活也很滿足了，便繼續前往蔬果店。到了店門口，開始挑選今天要買的食材，等全部買完，太陽也快下山了。女主人發覺自己挑的有點久，便加快腳步的趕回家，途中路過一個已經開始準備聖誕節裝飾的建築。回到家後，女主人便加快的準備今天要做的南瓜濃湯，等她先生跟孩子到家時，桌上擺著一鍋香噴噴的濃湯迎接著他們。
