about this story

Dear Diary, I went to Kat's place today. Her house is huge she has a queen-size bed, her own bathroom, and a hanging chair in her bedroom. I saw a bed with beautiful yellow flowers and asked who planted them she said it was part of her mom's flower garden that was being expanded. Her mom took us on a short drive to get ice cream before she drove me home. She parked along the curb then we each got 2 scoops of icecream from the park stand. Kat got chocolate, cookie dough and I got lemon, lavendar which we ate in the spring air. All too soon we headed back to the car where we found a ticket. Kat's mom looked at the parking meter she'd forgotten to pay and just shrugged. She then drove me home to my little quaint house that felt too small in comparison To Kat's. We said our good byes with a goodnight too. And then I promised to myself I'd write in you.
