- I am not apt to follow the lead of others, I have steadily endeavored to keep my mind free." This philosophy relates to the image in a simple manner because as you can see a man aim to do the things that he wants. He doesn't need to follow or envy others because as long as he can do what he wants his life will surround peace and happiness.
- "If everyone were cast in the same mold, there would be no such thing as beauty." It relates to the image in the sense that the group of peers in the image is seperated by culture and characteristics, yet they remain on the same place. At the same time, these differences demonstrate that, while people differ from one another, this does not prevent us from forming connections to other individuals. On the contrary, it allow us to perceive the beauty and uniqueness that everyone possesses, and build a strong and harmonious relationships that allow us to learn and respect these differences.
-The quote “A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life” is connected to the image of a man who is just standing and waiting at a certain place. Some people are wasting their time doing nothing or waiting until the day ends. And this man is somehow wasting his time because he still does not know the purpose why he is living. It is the same with us individuals. As a person, we will not value time; if we do not have enough reason to use it well. We rather choose to stay and wait because, in our minds, we don’t have value in this world. But, if we have enough reason to utilize our time wisely, it is like we value our life. We will always choose to have unlimited time to be with them. We will hold them no matter how hard it was. We will not waste every second of our lives doing nothing. Thus, discovering your value will dare you to take your time wisely.
-“A man’s friendships are one of the best measures of his worth” as you can see in the friends who know us very well showing real thoughts to their friends. Surrounding yourself with the right people makes you realized your worth. Because a real friend is the one who appreciates you and they are so rare to find. They are the ones always asking “how are you?” and waiting for your answers. You may encounter people but true friends never leave.
- The quote “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” It means in the image that there is a supremacy of change. Basically, most people think of someone smart or strong could survive circumstances or life. In reality, however, it is someone who can easily adapt to things. Who can keep up with the environment, society or the economy.
