A lone cat looked out the window, watching the birds play in the sun. She was lonely. One day, though, she saw a man driving towards the marsh to dump gasoline. It would be bad for the birds! She snuck out and trotted down the long driveway to the sunny patch where the birds lay. She hissed and spat at the man until he drove away. The birds welcomed her and showed her the sunniest patch of ivy- perfect for napping!
