about this story

A little boy could be described as a perfectionist, with perfect marks in school and practicing many different activities, but one day, he got a 90/100 on his exam. He felt disappointed; When he reached home, he gave his test paper to his mom; the mom being shocked would be an understatement. She was angry, disappointed, and sad all at the same time. Those emotions just burst out, and she started screaming and scolding him: "why can't you be more responsible with your own grades?" "how many times should I tell you to take school seriously?" "Do you know how disappointed I am in you? I expected more from you; go to your room this instant!". Those words stabbed him in the heart one by one; it was reasonable that he felt sad. in the heat of the moment, he ran off until the little boy ran into a dark staircase he had never seen. He consciously walks down the creaky staircase, and what he sees is an entirely different world from what he saw just a minute ago. It could only be described as a wonderland, it was by the beach, and you could see the clear sky and sun about to set. He didn't know what had happened; either it was his stressful day or he was mesmerized by the view in front of him; he sat down. the mesmerizing view calmed him down, yet he was curious about what this place could be. "I can't be dreaming, can I?" he said as he pinched himself, "ouch" he wasn't. after that day, the little boy got there every time he was stressed or sad or just when he felt down, he realized something "life is long, but if you live it in darkness it will seem short, enjoying life isn't selfish only then, people realize how much society is tieing you down."
