Quinn was no stranger to rainy days but when the clouds rolled in on her way home from walking her dog, she knew something was much different.
Maybe it was the way the clouds darkened almost immediately
Maybe it was just her imagination.
Quinn walked up the steps and went inside. There, sitting in the middle of the couch was a woman with a ski mask with long pointy ears like a cat, the colour matching her long ebony hair. Quinn froze her dog had run off somewhere in the house, and there stood the woman just staring directly at her. "Hello?" Quinn asked.
There was a pause between them.
"hunting season has begun." the woman answered with a wisper.
And with that the woman disappeared and Quinn was left standing in her living room.
"Hunting season." She reiterated.
The next day Quinn went to find the "Hunt" that the woman was talking about. Driving around she came to a wooded area and saw a gate covered in vines and plants. She pulled out the sign attached to the gate and it read.
"TRANS CLOSED FOR HUNTING SEASON"
"This is it." She thought to herself.
Going inside the gate she saw a beautiful clearing with a small mansion.
Then she died.
